CVS Pharmacy Robbery Fail

by The Editors on July 29, 2010

When Eric Gaskell, 21, and Peter Zastoke-Cleary 30, needed some money they allegedly thought it would be a good idea Gaskell to roll onto Carlsbad’s CVS Pharmacy at 2510 El Camino Real about 9 p.m. Wednesday July 28, 2010 and demand money with a note, according to a story on News10.com But they were much too slow for police.

Officers responding to the incident arrived in time to see the men leave the parking lot in a 1992 Honda, according to Beason. . .They allegedly saw that the passenger, Gaskell, matched the description of the robbery suspect. The vehicle was subsequently pulled over in the parking lot of Kragan Auto Parts on Plaza Drive in Oceanside.

Both men were arrested and booked on “suspicion of conspiracy and attempted armed robbery.” Nice work by the Carlsbad Police Department.
