(Feb. 27, 2014) \u2013 Tri-City Hospital Foundation\u2019s popular Fashion That Heals luncheon is set to return on Sat., May 17 from 10:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Sheraton Carlsbad Resort &#38; Spa. Because heart disease is the number-one killer of women in the U.S., the third annual Fashion That Heals will benefit women\u2019s heart health programs at Tri-City Medical Center.<\/p>\n<p>On the schedule for this year\u2019s event is a fashion show featuring Tri-City physicians, nurses and employees as well as community heroes like firefighters.  There will also be a Health &#38; Beauty Expo, a trunk show with top local vendors and both live and silent auctions with offerings including jewelry, vacations, wellness services and more. \u201cPick a Purse,\u201d a brand new opportunity drawing, will tempt fashion lovers with the chance to choose a high-end designer handbag of their choice.
