Her car just doesn&#8217;t look like it used to. Ever since it&#8217;s been &#8220;parked&#8221; on the corner of Harding and Chestnut it just hasn&#8217;t been treated right. On September 28, 2007 the City of Carlsbad Code Enforcement department reminded her that her precious Nissan Pulsar is a nuisance:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>. . . you are hereby notified that the undersigned has determined that said vehicle (or parts of a vehicle) exists as an abondoned, wrecked, dismantled or inoperable vehicle at off of 3390 Harding Street, and constitues a public nuisance pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 10.52 of the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/municipalcodes.lexisnexis.com\/codes\/carlsbad\/_DATA\/TITLE10\/Chapter_10_52_ABANDONED_VEHICL.html\" target=\"_blank\">Carlsbad Municipal Code<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Apparently, Ms. Davis has 10 days to respond to this letter or the car will be towed &#8220;at no cost&#8221; to her. By our count that means it should be gone by Tuesday.
