Our <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.carlsbadistan.com\/?p=1598\" target=\"_blank\">previous post<\/a><\/strong> didn&#8217;t not include the winners, so here they are.<\/p>\n<p>The Championship Winners (who will advance onto the Championships in Atlanta in April) are the <strong>Gatorobytes<\/strong> from Folsom, California.<\/p>\n<p>First Place: <strong>The Sandy LEGO Beachbots<\/strong> from San Diego.<br \/>\nSecond Place: <strong>It&#8217;s Easy Being Green<\/strong> from Manhattan Beach<br \/>\nThird: <strong>The Lego Loonies<\/strong> from Lake View Terrace<br \/>\nFourth: A three-way tie:<strong> Cold Fusion<\/strong> (San Diego), <strong>Odd Watts<\/strong> (San Diego) and <strong>JV Beach Bot #1<\/strong> (Long Beach)<\/p>\n<p>Awards were also given for:<br \/>\nDesign: Innovative Design: <strong>The Sandy LEGO Beachbots<\/strong> (San Diego)<br \/>\nDesign: Robot Dependability: <strong>Plus Rated Power<\/strong> (Newhall)<br \/>\nDesign: Programming: <strong>Cold Fusion<\/strong> (San Diego)<br \/>\nProject: Quality Research: <strong>Robotrix<\/strong> (La Jolla)<br \/>\nProject: Creative Presentation: <strong>If Rotation=1<\/strong> (San Diego)<br \/>\nProject: Innovative Solution: <strong>It&#8217;s Easy Being Green<\/strong> (Manhattan Beach)<br \/>\nTeam Spirit: <strong>Team Evil Genius<\/strong> (Valencia)<\/p>\n<p>Looks like San Diego had good representation, but the crew from the out skirts of Sacto took it all. It&#8217;s a shame: we don&#8217;t see any Carlsbad teams on this list.
