We chose <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.carlsbadistan.com\/wp-trackback.php?p=393\" target=\"_blank\">Sue Palmer<\/a><\/strong> over standing inline at <strong>AT&#38;T<\/strong>. We do, however, have a friend who made a run for the border and pulled into an undisclosed AT&#38;T Store in Vista at 4 PM.  After waiting in line for two hours he was able to snap some photos and snag a 4 gig, which immediately sent him into the throws of an inferiority complex.  In a late evening email he said: &#8220;I have not broken the seal yet. I have decided to swap it for the 8 gig.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.carlsbadistan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/06\/new-iphone.jpg\" onclick=\"window.open('http:\/\/www.carlsbadistan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/06\/new-iphone.jpg','popup','width=216,height=250,scrollbars=no,resizable=yes,toolbar=no,directories=no,location=no,menubar=no,status=yes,left=0,top=0');return false\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.carlsbadistan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/06\/new-iphone-tm.jpg\" height=\"115\" width=\"100\" border=\"1\" align=\"left\" hspace=\"4\" vspace=\"4\" alt=\"New Iphone\" \/><\/a>But as anyone knows, it&#8217;s nearly impossible to sit with a new piece of <strong>Apple<\/strong> technology without opening it. Moments later we got another email. . . &#8220;I opened the package and it is not as sleek as it looks in the ads&#8230;.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Side Note<\/strong>: the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.apple.com\/retail\/fashionvalley\/week\/20070624.html\" target=\"_blank\">Fashion Valley Apple Store<\/a><\/strong> opens at 10 AM this morning and according to the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.apple.com\/retail\/iphone\/\" target=\"_blank\">Apple iPhone Availability Page<\/a><\/strong> they still have phones (as does every Apple store in California).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Below The Side Note<\/strong>: Our photos from the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.carlsbadistan.com\/wp-trackback.php?p=376\" target=\"_blank\">Plaza Camino Real<\/a><\/strong> line were picked up and included in the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/gizmodo.com\/photogallery\/iphoneline\/2101872\" target=\"_blank\">Gizmodo.com iPhone photo gallery<\/a><\/strong>.
