The show is presented in conjunction with the regional premiere of the Pulitzer-nominated play <strong><em>Bulrusher<\/em><\/strong> by <strong>Eisa Davis<\/strong> on the theatre\u2019s main stage and opens tomorrow February 6, 2009 with an artist\u2019s reception and walkthrough from 5:30\u20137 p.m., the exhibition runs through March 12, 2009.<\/p>\n<p>Gallery hours are 1:30-5:30 Tuesday through Saturday, and Sundays from 12 \u2013 4:30. Now a resident of Cardiff, Des Rosiers has exhibited in Europe, the Caribbean, Canada and the United States. Her latest work, a series of portraits of imaginative people\u2019s faces, was exhibited during the summer of 2008 in Bourges, France.<\/p>\n<p>Des Rosiers, who paints in both oils and acrylics with palette knives, studied the chiaroscuro technique to enhance her portraits. Since her professional debut, nature, human condition and emotion have been essential components of her creative process.  Strong, vivid portraits, landscapes and village scenes tell multicultural stories.
