They come out to have fun.\u201d . . . During the life of the event, more than $500,000 has been raised according to longtime emcee Brian Cook. \u201cBottom line is that this is about the kids,\u201d he said. Maldi said the tournament was expected to bring in at least $50,000 this year.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>We&#8217;re just sorry we missed it.
