According to a story in the <strong><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nctimes.com\/news\/local\/sdcounty\/article_9f398c18-f394-5f8d-9335-8dafad573de3.html\" target=\"_blank\">North County Times<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, police say that stopping to pick up a day laborer can cause traffic snarls.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>It&#8217;s dangerous for drivers to stop on busy roads to pick up the workers, Carlsbad police Capt. <strong>Neil Gallucci<\/strong> said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>If it&#8217;s that dangerous, why not ticket the people who are driving the cars that stop to pick up the workers?
