The eight units of the <strong>La Costa De Marbella<\/strong> condominium project in the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/maps?q=2400+La+Costa+Ave,+Carlsbad,+CA+92009,+USA&amp;sa=X&amp;oi=map&amp;ct=title\" target=\"_blank\">2400 block of La Costa Avenue<\/a><\/strong> had to be demolished after the slow-moving slide in March 2005. The suit was settled for $12.5 million.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>City officials claimed the slide was the result of heavy rains, but the court did not believe them. Maybe they can borrow some money from <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thecrossingsatcarlsbad.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Crossings<\/a><\/strong>.
