Well, lucky us. According to their reports <em>Carlsbadistan<\/em> has had nine more assaults this year compared to last. They didn&#8217;t give the total, but at least we&#8217;re not leading the county.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The area with the most increases in assaults is Poway. The city has had 18 more assaults through May compared with last year. Vista&#8217;s overall crime rate is down 20 percent, but the city has seen 15 more assaults this year.
