\"Carlsbad<\/a>Each year the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce<\/a><\/strong> honors local businesses that rise above the rest at the Annual Business Awards Dinner. This year 52 businesses have been named as finalists in eight different categories.<\/p>\n

\u201cBusinesses are the driving force of our area\u2019s economy and we want to applaud the individuals and companies that have worked hard to keep our region on track during these difficult times,\u201d said Toni Padron<\/strong>, the chamber\u2019s executive vice president and chief operating officer.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The winners will be announced at the chamber\u2019s Annual Business Awards Dinner<\/strong> Feb. 26 at the Four Seasons Resort Aviara, where former Channel 10 news anchor Carol LeBeau will be master of ceremonies. More than 500 people, including prominent and high-profile business leaders, elected officials and community members, will attend the awards dinner.
