The robber was seen getting into a dark-colored, full-sized, lifted truck with off-road tires. Police searched the area but were unable to find the vehicle.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>We believe this to be the first reported <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.carlsbadistan.com\/index.php?s=bank+robbery\" target=\"_blank\">bank robbery<\/a><\/strong> of the new year. He probably needed to buy new monster truck tires.
