{"id":7617,"date":"2010-03-12T23:29:26","date_gmt":"2010-03-13T07:29:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.carlsbadistan.com\/?p=7617"},"modified":"2010-03-12T23:41:23","modified_gmt":"2010-03-13T07:41:23","slug":"hash-house-harriers-run-carlsbad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.carlsbadistan.com\/?p=7617","title":{"rendered":"Hash House Harriers Run Carlsbad"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.carlsbadistan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/lah3_hare.jpg\" onclick=\"window.open('http:\/\/www.carlsbadistan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/lah3_hare.jpg','popup','width=114,height=100,scrollbars=no,resizable=yes,toolbar=no,directories=no,location=no,menubar=no,status=yes,left=0,top=0');return false\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.carlsbadistan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/lah3_hare-tm.jpg\" height=\"87\" width=\"100\" border=\"1\" align=\"right\" hspace=\"4\" vspace=\"4\" alt=\"Lah3 Hare\" \/><\/a>The <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hash.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Hash House Harriers of Southern California<\/a><\/strong>, a running group whose <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.signonsandiego.com\/news\/2010\/mar\/09\/gardners-family-took-part-run-day-attack\/\" target=\"_blank\">members reportedly include the mother and stepfather<\/a><\/strong> of <strong>John Gardner<\/strong>, the man accused of raping and murdering seventeen-year-old <strong>Chelsea King<\/strong>, will be holding an event in Carlsbad on Saturday, March 20, 2010.<\/p>\n<p>The run, with the unfortunate title of <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/hash.org\/hash.cgi?m=3&amp;d=20&amp;y=2010&amp;h=H4\" target=\"_blank\">16th Anal Humpin Bar2Bar &#8211; &#8216;Sorority Sleepover,&#8217;<\/a><\/strong> kicks off in McGee park at &#8220;around 11&#8221; according to the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/hash.org\/hash.cgi?m=3&amp;d=20&amp;y=2010&amp;h=H4\" target=\"_blank\">group&#8217;s website<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This same group held a run in the Rancho Bernardo Community Park on December 27, 2009 three hours after a 22-year-old college student was attacked in the park. It is the same park where Chelsea King was running when she disappeared. <strong>John Gardner<\/strong> was charged with &#8220;assault with the intent to rape&#8221; in that  attack according to a story in the <strong><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.signonsandiego.com\/news\/2010\/mar\/09\/gardners-family-took-part-run-day-attack\/\" target=\"_blank\">San Diego Union-Tribune<\/a><\/em><\/strong>.
