Pacific Ridge finished 10th overall for middle schools and 9th over all for  upper schools. For the complete individual results follow the jump. . .<br \/>\n<!--more-->Pacific Ridge School Upper and Middle School Students Compete, Rank in San Diego Science Olympiad Competition<\/p>\n<p>From Bottle Rockets to Trajectories, Students Presented Visual Demonstrations of Projects on Carlsbad Campus<\/p>\n<p>CARLSBAD, Calif. \u2013 March 24, 2010 \u2013 Pacific Ridge School (www.pacificridge.org), an independent, non-profit school in Carlsbad that fosters academic excellence, ethical responsibility and global engagement to prepare students for college and a purposeful life, competed for the second consecutive year in the regional Science Olympiad, a nationally organized competition in biology, chemistry, physics, engineering and related areas. Pacific Ridge School fielded 10 middle school teams and placed 10th overall in the competition.   Fifteen upper school teams competed and placed 9th overall.<\/p>\n<p>The events and results of the Pacific Ridge School teams are below, in order of places earned:<br \/>\nMiddle School &#8211; Division B<br \/>\n2. Physics Lab &#8211; Martin Boyd and Grant Nassif<\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday, March 17, students had the opportunity to demonstrate their Science Olympiad projects.
