{"id":910,"date":"2007-08-25T09:53:48","date_gmt":"2007-08-25T16:53:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.carlsbadistan.com\/?p=910"},"modified":"2007-08-26T08:22:20","modified_gmt":"2007-08-26T15:22:20","slug":"pwc-crash-in-lagoon-ends-at-hospital","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.carlsbadistan.com\/?p=910","title":{"rendered":"PWC Crash in Lagoon Ends At Hospital"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Having been watching the chaos in <strong>Agua Hedionda Lagoon<\/strong> since someone mentioned it to us last week, we find it very hard to believe that this doesn&#8217;t happen more often, what with all those PWCs buzzing around and around in that tiny corner of the lagoon:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>A 13-year-old was flown to <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.chsd.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Rady Children&#8217;s Hospital<\/a><\/strong> in San Diego after a collision Friday [Aug. 24, 2007] of two personal watercraft at <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.carlsbadlagoon.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">California Water Sports<\/a><\/strong> in Snug Harbor Marina, according to officials. . . The boy&#8217;s watercraft was bumped by another, causing pain to his back, firefighters said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The boy was flown to the hospital via life flight, however, his injuries were not that serious according to <strong><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nctimes.com\/articles\/2007\/08\/25\/news\/coastal\/carlsbad\/23_47_308_24_07.txt\" target=\"_blank\">The North County Times<\/a><\/em><\/strong>.
