On Monday (November 15, 2010) at about 9 AM a man fell from the cliffs at <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\/maps?hl=en&amp;client=safari&amp;q=map:+Lake+Calavera+carlsbad&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;hq=&amp;hnear=Calavera+Lake&amp;gl=us&amp;ei=W9HiTPveGo7SsAPy1tRm&amp;oi=geocode_result&amp;ved=0CBMQ8gEwAA&amp;ll=33.171109,-117.28343&amp;spn=0.010741,0.019891&amp;z=16\" target=\"_blank\">Lake Calavera<\/a><\/strong> on the North Eastern edge of Carlsbad.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The 21-year old man fell approximately 200 feet near the levy road around 9 a.m. Monday, police said.
