The officer was responding to a bike vs. car accident on Carlsbad Village Drive at approximately 2:55 p.m on Wednesday August 29.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>When the officer arrived a few minutes later and began exiting her patrol car, the door of the car struck her in the head, <strong>Sgt. Keith Blackburn<\/strong> said. . .
