The Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad<\/a><\/strong> are hosting their largest fundraising event of the year, their annual Come Play With Us Gala<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, at the La Costa Resort and Spa<\/a><\/strong> on Saturday, September 28, at 6:00 p.m. .<\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone is invited to come, dance the night away, and give to a great cause!\u201d says Gala Co-Chair Barbi Nelson<\/strong>. \u201cWe want everyone to show up and celebrate the Club\u2019s impact,\u201d added Gala Co-Chair Viola Wheelihan. . . More than 550 business and community leaders are expected to attend this social event of the season complete with lavish cuisine and dancing to Bonnie Foster Production\u2019s dynamic Wayne Foster Experience.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The evening will be hosted by 10 News’ Kimberly Hunt<\/strong> and her husband (former Charger) Billy Ray Smith<\/strong>. (Carlsbad, CA – August, 2013) For more than sixty years, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad has been a part of the fabric of the Carlsbad community, changing lives every day.<\/p>\n

All this and more will be celebrated at the Club\u2019s largest fundraising event of the year \u2013 the annual Gala. \u201cEveryone is invited to come, dance the night away, and give to a great cause!\u201d says Gala Co-Chair Barbi Nelson. \u201cWe want everyone to show up and celebrate the Club\u2019s impact,\u201d added Gala Co-Chair Viola Wheelihan.<\/p>\n

The \u201cCome Play With Us!\u201d Annual Gala will take place at La Costa Resort and Spa on Saturday, September 28, at 6:00 p.m. More than 550 business and community leaders are expected to attend this social event of the season complete with lavish cuisine and dancing to Bonnie Foster Production\u2019s dynamic Wayne Foster Experience.<\/p>\n

An exciting live auction, emceed by 10 Newscaster Kimberly Hunt and her husband, former Charger Billy Ray Smith, will also take place. Items to be auctioned include tickets to The Voice, American Idol, unique chef table inspired dinners from local favorites West Steak and Seafood and Paon Restasurant, and other amazing opportunities.<\/p>\n

The event is projected to raise $200,000 in support of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad\u2019s proven after-school programs. Sponsorship opportunities are available as well as auction item donation are being solicited (what a great way to showcase your product or business!).<\/p>\n
