\"Carlsbadmusiclogo\"<\/a>On the afternoon and evening of Saturday, June 20, 2015 the streets of the Village of Carlsbad<\/strong> will spring to life with the sounds of music as the Carlsbad Music Festival<\/strong> presents the Carlsbad Village Walk<\/strong> performances.<\/p>\n

Carlsbad Music Festival kicks off the summer with its third annual free Village Music Walk, featuring dozens of musicians performing over 60 sets during a 6 hour community celebration of adventurous music. An extension of the August Carlsbad Music Festival, the Village Music Walk is an all-ages, free of charge, community event that features a wide array of music performed in outdoor and indoor spaces throughout the historic Village of Carlsbad. The unique performance venues range from public parks and art galleries, to local music stores and even a 19th century chapel. Drawing annual crowds of over 4000 community members and cultural tourists, the Village Music Walk runs from 4-10pm with 20-minute sets starting every half hour. With multiple performance options to choose from at any time, attendees of the Village Walk are invited to create their own concert journey through the Village.We are pleased to announce the complete schedule of adventurous musicians and venues!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

26 adventurous bands, ensembles and soloists will take part in the June 20 Village Music Walk. Highlights include: New Orleans traditional brass band with an edgy twist by Euphoria Brass Band, contemporary classical cellist Jennifer Bewerse, live scores to silent films by madcap multi-instrumentalist Scott Paulson and the Teeny-Tiny Pit Orchestra, Persian classical music by Kourosh Taghavi Trio, award-winning folk-pop duo Lovebirds, and original compositions for solo violin by Fest Founder and Artistic Director Matt McBane.<\/p>\n

Carlsbad Music Festival is a 501(c)(3) organization that aims to engage and inspire local,
