According to <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.powerofvisioncarlsbad.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Power of Vision Carlsbad<\/a><\/strong>, here are a few of the reasons why a new power plant just might be a bad idea:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u2022 Huge carbon footprint<br \/>\n\u2022 10 times increase in air pollution<br \/>\n\u2022 40 more years harnessed with fossil fuel-burning technology<br \/>\n\u2022  Economics hardship for tourism industry<br \/>\n\u2022  Major safety concerns cited with I-5 expansion<br \/>\n\u2022  Industrialization of coastal lands<br \/>\n\u2022  Long Beach or La Jolla?
