Legoland California is reportedly being class action sued by the San Diego employment law attorneys at Blumenthal Nordrehaug Bhowmik De Blouw LLP for allegedly violating the California Labor Code.
The complaint alleges Legoland California, LLC failed to compensate employees for all the time they were under Defendant’s control. Employees were from time to time allegedly required to work longer than four hours without being provided their ten minute rest periods. Additionally, employees were allegedly required to work for more than five hours without receiving an off-duty meal break.
We didn’t call Legoland for comment, but we’re certain a Legoland spokesperson would tell us that they are diligent about following all the laws of the State of California and that they don’t comment on current litigation. For all the official details, please click the link.

So true and they want you to work 12 hr shifts all week and they changed my schedule without out knowledge and fired me then rehired and fired after I wrote a review
They used to care more but now they don’t. There is no accountability for when we don’t get breaks. That is not joke about the 12 hour days that was all summer and then you don’t get your last breaks and especially you don’t get your 3rd 10. This isn’t a regular job it’s intense you deal with extreme abuse from guests and your mental health suffers and you are not allowed To leave position with out some one taking your spot and if no one comes for you you are stuck so you could be scheduled to 6 but sometimes won’t get out till 7 or 8. They make you go through the park in uniform and answer guest questions off the clock. If you work in the back of the park you have a 10 minute walk to the clock out station and that’s without being stopped by guests. California law you can not be in certain operating positions for longer then 2 or 3 hours and that would happen consistently. Here comes the worst part they ripp you off for operator pay and pay you get when you are training a few weeks ago no ride operators in one area of the park got paid. We get paid weekly and they still haven’t got their pay. So now it is 2 weeks late and no one is rushing to fix the situation some people can’t pay bills or even buy lunch. The problem is they outsourced hr to flordia and they don’t have the same laws as California. Hopefully they finnally get held accountable and they come up with a better system that’s fair for everyone and legal !
Legoland in NY is just as bad. I went to cash my check and it bounced!
