Harlem Globetrotter Visits Legoland

by The Editors on February 6, 2009

Image001-1Paying visitors at Legoland today (February 6, 2009) got an extra bonus as Herb “Moo Moo” Evans of the world famous Harlem Globetrotters put on a one-man basketball show today.

Evans captivated a large audience of Park guests with his basketball wizardry and the hilarious antics that have made the Harlem Globetrotters a family favorite for generations. . . . “The best part of being a Harlem Globetrotter is the kids’ smiles,” said Evans. “Their faces just light up when I do what I do.”

One of the biggest smiles Evans got today was from 4-year-old Carlsbadistan resident Liam Cunnings. Those who missed Evans at Legoland can see the entire Globetrotters team take on the losing team in basketball (The Washington Generals) at the Sports Arena on February 13 and 15, 2009.
