Boys & Girls Clubs Super Start Gala

Nearly 500 guests attended the Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad Super Stars . . Let It Shine! Gala held at the La Costa Resort and Spa’s Del Sol Ballroom on October 22, 2011.

The event was emceed by Emmy Award winning news anchor Kimberly Hunt and her husband (and former Charger) Billy Ray Smith, and honored SDSU Men’s Basketball Coach Steve Fisher. . . “What a memorable evening; you could literally feel the love in the ballroom!” said Chair Barbi Nelson. “The true super stars are our children, and I’m pleased that we were able to raise significant funds for them.”

(Carlsbad, CA – November 14, 2011) The signature “Sparkle” drinks were chilled, the mood was celebratory, and a terrific time was had by the nearly 500 guests who attended Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad’s “Super Stars … let it shine!” Gala. Presented by PayPros, the black tie event held at La Costa Resort and Spa’s Costa Del Sol Ballroom on October 22.

Dynamic Wayne Foster Entertainment provided sensational sounds that kept the dance floor packed all night. There was also a candy bar overflowing with star-themed treats as well as a flip-book station complete with dress-up props. The event was emceed by Emmy Award winning news anchor Kimberly Hunt and her husband (and former Charger) Billy Ray Smith, and honored SDSU Men’s Basketball Coach Steve Fisher.
