On Thursday, Feb. 19 at 6:30 p.m., the City of Carlsbad will host Make a Date to Make a Difference, or mad2mad, at 83 Degrees restaurant, 660 Carlsbad Village Drive. Mad2mad is an event designed to encourage members of the millennial generation, generally those born from the early 1980s to the early 2000s, to give back to their community.

“Mad2mad is a great opportunity for millennials to meet new people, enjoy free appetizers and find out about great organizations where they can volunteer in the community,” said City of Carlsbad Volunteer Coordinator Sue Irey. “We are focusing on one-day volunteer opportunities as a way to invite this generation to continue their commitment to volunteer service.”
