Have you been driving home to Carlsbad on the 5 lately and noticed a village of white inflatable buildings at the Del Mar Fair Grounds? That’s what promoters are calling “the world’s first hyper-reality tour” a.k.a. The Marvel Experience. It was slated to end on Sunday, February 22, 2015, however, the attraction has extended its run until March 1, 2015.

Hyper-Reality Tour Now Set To Welcome Crowds At The Del Mar Fair Grounds Through Sunday, March 1

San Diego, Calif. – February 19, 2015 – “The Marvel Experience: The World’s First Hyper-Reality Tour” has extended its smash-hit engagement in San Diego due to popular demand and overwhelming ticket sales. Hero Ventures made the announcement last night at a private party in front of VIP guests including filmmaker Kevin Smith, who voices villain M.O.D.O.K. in The Marvel Experience, and Jason Mewes. Audiences in San Diego, a city known around the world as the epicenter of multi-genre entertainment and comic culture, have been flocking to the Del Mar Fair Grounds to visit The Marvel Experience since it opened there on February 7. The engagement, originally slated to end on February 22, has been extended one week through March 1.

Following its extended run in San Diego, The Marvel Experience will head to Chicago’s Soldier Field beginning on Thursday, April 2nd. Additional information on the Chicago engagement will be announced shortly.
