Boys & Girls Clubs Honor Marylou Flanders

“Marylou is a board member and special event volunteer; the word ‘no’ is not part of her vocabulary,” said Club CEO Brad Holland.  “She produces our promotional materials, secures incredible auction items, and has rallied her employer to be a corporate partner for the Club. She gives freely of her time and talent, and we are thrilled to be able to recognize her efforts!”

MARYLOU FLANDERS HONORED AS VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR

 

(Carlsbad, CA – November 24, 2015)  Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad was pleased to announce their candidate for Volunteer of the Year – Marylou Flanders. She was recognized for her many achievements at the North County Philanthropy’s “Volunteer of the Year” Luncheon which took place on November 12.

“Marylou is a board member and special event volunteer; the word ‘no’ is not part of her vocabulary,” said Club CEO Brad Holland.  “She produces our promotional materials, secures incredible auction items, and has rallied her employer to be a corporate partner for the Club. She gives freely of her time and talent, and we are thrilled to be able to recognize her efforts!”

“It’s tremendously rewarding to hear from a parent and child how the Club experience changed their lives,” stated Marylou. “And when so many of our Board members talk about what the Club did for them as they were growing up and why they pay it forward, I know my efforts are worthwhile!”
