Walk Some Carlsbad Village Art This Thursday

The Village of Carlsbad’s 4th Thursday Art Walk is this Thursday, May 26, 2016 beginning at 5 PM.

Throughout the Village, 20 different locations are waiting to welcome you with light refreshments and fantastic local and regional art ranging from photography, oil, sculpture, woodworking, and so much more!

For a flavor of what’s in store this Thursday night, from 5pm to 8pm, here are what just three State Street locations are providing:

VIZ ART INK GALLERY (2906 State Street) We are featuring artist Elissa Gibb from Paper + Pots. She does amazing printmaking and ceramics. She will be selling out front and inside our gallery all day. We currently feature 22 local artists in our gallery and looking forward to this month’s art walk.

CLEVER ELEMENT (2832 State Street) We will have a community painting project going during the Art Walk. People can stop by and get a free 10-minute painting lesson and contribute to our communal painting. Come be part of something special!

FOUNDRY ARTIST STUDIOS at New Village Arts (2787 State Street) Our artist studio is home to 16 artist studio spaces and an art gallery. Come watch the artists at work and see their works in progress. We treat the Art Walk like an art party. Come meet the artists and enjoy spending time in our creative space.
