The Tamarack Surf Beach sign that featured a longboarder doing a stylish cutback has apparently disappeared from its past location. We’re hoping it was just taken down for cleaning. . . anyone have any ideas?
Update 5:48 PM: The City of Carlsbad doesn’t know what happened to the sign, though they did say that “the State” was doing some work on the bluff, so “maybe they took it down to clean it.”

Oh no! I hope it will come back!
It’s been gone for a long time. I thought it looked like it had been ripped down leaving some wood splinters around the screws.
I have it hanging in my backyard…next to the chickens from the Twin Ends and the signs from The Sandbar and Ralph & Eddies… he he
