Trauma Intervention Programs, a nonprofit organization that partners with emergency responders to assist citizens dealing with a personal tragedy, is looking for volunteers.
TIP is holding training sessions for volunteers from Feb. 28 through March 10 in Carlsbad.The 50-hour training academy is held on weeknights and weekends and costs $45 a person. No experience is necessary. Interested people must be at least 16 years old and have a car, auto insurance and a cell phone.
