Ricky Whitlock & The Road Back

by The Editors on October 30, 2012

Carlsbadistan surfer Ricky Whitlock ran into some trouble while surfing the North Shore of Oahu’s Pipeline on January 25, 2012.

Ricky took off on his second wave of the morning, which broke on top of him and slammed him into the reef, breaking two vertebra in his back. This is his story.

The film is narrated by Carlsbad High School graduate Sal Masekela. It’s like an all Carlsbadistan cast. We’re glad Whitlock is back at it.
