Man Dies In Single Car Wreck on I-5

by The Editors on September 11, 2007

According to the San Diego Union Tribune William Michael Faringhy, 41, died Monday night when the truck he was driving collided with the center divider and flipped to its roof just south of Tamarack in the North bound side of Interstate 5.

Faringhy was driving north on Interstate 5 just south of Tamarack Avenue at a high speed when he lost control of his 2005 Nissan Titan and hit the concrete center divider, said California Highway Patrol officer Tom Kerns. . . The truck ended up on its roof and Faringhy, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown partly out of the vehicle.

No other cars were involved. Our thoughts are with his family and friends.
