Madagascar 3 At Family Movie Night

Family Movie NightStagecoach Community Park will host a Family Movie Night presentation of Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted on Saturday night, September 14, 2013.

The movie is free, and fun zone wristbands will be available for $5. The wristbands provide unlimited access to the circus-themed fun zone that includes bounce houses, slides, carnival games and activities. Beverages, hot dogs, pizza, funnel cakes and ice cream will be available for purchase.

The evening begins at 5 PM on Saturday, September 14, 2013. The movie starts at Sunset. Stagecoach Park is located at 3420 Camino de los Coches, in Carlsbad.Family Movie Night

Family Movie Night under the stars Sept. 14

Enjoy circus-themed games and activities plus a free showing of “Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted,” at the City of Carlsbad’s annual Family Movie Night Saturday, Sept. 14, at Stagecoach Community Park.

The movie is free, and fun zone wristbands will be available for $5. The wristbands provide unlimited access to the circus-themed fun zone that includes bounce houses, slides, carnival games and activities. Beverages, hot dogs, pizza, funnel cakes and ice cream will be available for purchase.

The family fun will begin at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14, at Stagecoach Community Park, 3420 Camino de los Coches in Carlsbad. The movie will begin under the stars at dusk; at about 7:30 p.m. Families are encouraged to arrive at 5 p.m. to set up their blankets or low-back chairs and enjoy the fun activities before the movie begins.

Rachael Shay, City of Carlsbad special events supervisor, said Family Movie Night is a perfect way to bring families and friends together, which is what helps the City of Carlsbad stay a close-knit community.

“Community events are just one way we use our large open spaces to bring people together,” said Shay.

Parking is available on the nearby surface streets and at the Stagecoach Community Center up the hill from the event.
