Carlsbad, California based DCN Diagnostics (one of those local tech companies whose products are nearly impossible to understand unless you have a PhD) has donated $10,000 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad as a way of celebrating the company’s 10th anniversary.
“Our goal as a company has always been to create positive outcomes for our clients, our employees and for the broader communities in which we live and work,” says DCN’s President and Founding Partner, Dr. Brendan O’Farrell. “The Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad provide an essential service to the Carlsbad community, including to the children of many DCN employees. DCN DIAGNOSTICS CELEBRATES 10TH ANNIVERSARY BY GIVING BACK
(Carlsbad, CA – October 20, 2016) Founded in 2005 by Michael Surmanian and Dr. Brendan O’Farrell, DCN Diagositics is headquartered in Carlsbad and occupies over 13,000 square feet, including a state-of-art laboratory. DCN brings product to market by using their understanding of rapid assay applications, markets and technology with advanced design and development capabilities.
Over the past decade, DCN has helped support their home town as well as communities abroad by donating over $150,000 to charities. This year, DCN is proud to support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Carlsbad. A $10,000 donation was presented to the Clubs’ CEO, Brad Holland, at DCN’s 10th Anniversary Gala held on September 29th at the Omni La Costa Resort in Carlsbad.
