Join The Women’s March On Washington

Can’t make it to Washington DC, but want to participate in the Women’s March on Washington on January 21, 2017? You still can with the Women’s March On Washington North County San Diego. It begins on Saturday at 11 AM at the San Marcos Civic Center in San Marcos, California. The Civic Center is located at 1 Civic Center Drive, San Marcos, California. This North County San Diego march and rally is aligned with the Women’s March on Washington.

At 11 am we will gather at the Civic Center in San Marcos. At 12 noon we will march to Palomar College in San Marcos. At 1 p.m. we will rally at Palomar College.

Bathrooms

Bathrooms are open at the San Marcos Library.
Bathrooms are open at Palomar College.

Refreshments
The San Marcos Library is generously donating water and coffee at the Civic Center.
Food trucks will be selling food & drinks at Palomar College from 12-3p

Parking
Free parking is available in Student Parking Lot #14, at the corner of Mission Rd. & Comet Circle. The Sprinter is right across Mission Rd.

There is no parking at the Civic Center. We strongly encourage carpooling, with a driver dropping off a group at the Civic Center, then parking oneself back at Palomar College and either walk or take the Sprinter to return to the Civic Center. The Sprinter leaves the College at 9:10a, 10:10a, & 11:10a and arrives at the Civic Center 3 min. later http://www.gonctd.com/wp-content/uploads/Schedules/SPRINTER-Schedule.pdf
Unfortunately, there is no shuttle service.

Interpreters
We have ASL interpreters and Spanish translators at both the Civic Center and at Palomar College.

Signs & Banners
Signs & banners will be provided, and you are welcome to bring your own which do not have sticks. Signs and banners must be hand held.

Safety
Palomar College Police are graciously escorting the marchers, and will be on duty at the College to keep ours a peaceful, beautiful day!

A First Aid station will be on site at Palomar College.
