About Muriel Anderson
Widely respected as one of the foremost fingerstyle guitarists in the world, Muriel Anderson’s unique approach to the instrument virtually transforms the guitar into a lyrical choir, then a marching band, then a Japanese koto, then a Bluegrass band, amazing audiences with her technique and endearing them with her sense of humor. One minute launching into a Beatles tune and the next, Chopin’s Minute Waltz, her facility across the genres of folk, classical, jazz, bluegrass and international music is revered by guitarists worldwide.

Muriel Anderson is the first woman to have won the National Fingerpicking Guitar Championship. She is host of the renowned “Muriel Anderson’s ALL STAR GUITAR NIGHT®” and founder of the Music for Life Alliance charity. Her music spans the globe in styles, unified by an honest humanity and superb artistry. Touring in the USA and internationally year round, her music brings smiles and promotes understanding worldwide, with performances including the Olympia in Paris, Music Fair in Yokohama Japan, and the American Embassy in Malaysia.

About Thom Bresh
A 2001 inductee into the “Thumbpickers Hall of Fame,” Thom Bresh and his six string friends have been entertaining people for a lifetime. Whether he is leaning against a wall telling you how his day went or shaking the walls of a concert hall with that famous hard driving thumb, first and foremost you will be entertained. He is equally at home on stage in a stadium or on a couch in someone’s living room, and has a deep, witty and gritty singing voice set in the middle of that relentless, powerful groove.

Thom Bresh’s father, legendary guitarist Merle Travis, was one of the most influential guitarists of the 20th century, and this heritage is apparent in every performance when Bresh pays tribute to his father. Buster B. Jones sums it up like this: “Bresh is a drop-top version of his daddy with a souped up engine and a whole lot more chrome.”

There is more in The Breshman’s entertainment arsenal than singing and playing guitar. His quick comedic timing and sharp ear have made him an incredible impressionist, which led to two HBO specials. Thom hosted his own TV show and has guest starred on numerous others. Behind the scenes, as a producer, he has received two Grammy nominations and one Academy Award nomination.
