Sadly, we were unable to attend the 54th Annual Miss Carlsbad Pageant the evening of March 22, 2008. If we had we would have seen Dana Ducommun grab the crown, the roses, and $2,000 in cash from the Carlsbad Lions Club.
First runner-up in the Miss Carlsbad contest was Allison Pechter; second runner-up was Erin Langford; third runner-up Alison Mart; Miss Photogenic was Dana Ducommun; and Miss Congeniality was Juliette Orozco.
Congratulations, Dana, and all the girls who put in the hard work to keep the pageant alive.
