Nothing makes us feel older than realizing that Star Wars turns 30 this weekend. Seriously, we remember hearing that we were going to have to wait 20 years to see the whole series and thinking we’d never wait. Apparently we did.
Legoland is helping George Lucas celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Star Wars with a LEGO Star Wars™ Weekend of fun for kids and their parents.
This is an opportunity for fans to come to Legoland and celebrate the saga’s anniversary with their family,” public relations representative Kelly Schwartz said. . . . Legoland’s “MiniLand” will stage a hunt for never-before-produced, special-edition metallic gold C-3PO mini figures. Only 10,000 of them have been produced, 30 of which will be given away throughout the weekend.
