The Billabong Pro J-Bay 08 started today in Jefferys Bay, South Africa and Carlsbadistan’s Taylor Knox surfed away with the day’s highest score in his round 1 heat against Joel Parkinson and Nic Muscroft.
Taylor Knox went mad with a near perfect 19.70 score, Parko scored a 10 and lost, Taj pulled into two monster pipes on the one wave for a 9.93, Slater made it through easily and Fanning was in fine touch.
