According to a story on the San Diego News Network Sami Ladecki will have a grand re-opening for the the Carlsbad Sammy’s Woodfired Pizza on June 24, 2009 with an “invite-only” benefit for the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce Partners in Education Foundation. The restaurant was gutted by a gas explosion on July 29, 2008 which caused more than $1 million in damages.
Sammy’s will then open to the public on June 25, 2009. We’re glad to have Sammy’s back. Seems we still have a gift certificate that we thought we’d have to leave Carlsbadistan to redeem.
