Twenty/20 Grill Hosts Tapas For The Cure

The Sheraton Carlsbad’s Twenty/20 Grill & Wine Bar will be hosting “Tapas for the Cure” on Wednesday, October 28, 2009, an event to raise money for the San Diego Komen Race For The Cure.

Priced at $30 per person the evening includes two cocktails, multiple tapas prepared on the scenic outdoor patio and the sounds of a live flamenco guitar player strumming and strolling. Also included are two raffle tickets for a chance to win big at the pink themed raffle extravaganza and silent auction with prize packages that include: a complete wine country experience with lunch at Wilson Creek Winery, a luxury overnight stay and basket full of goodies; a luxury week long getaway in Cabo San Lucas; a four day/three night stay in Lake Tahoe; decadent marine based spa treatments at the luxurious Ocean Pearl Spa; golfing at adjacent Crossings at Carlsbad and much more.

Special Tapas Night Raises Funds For San Diego Area Breast Cancer Research & Education

Carlsbad, CA (October 21, 2009) — Say “Salud” to a good cause Wednesday, October 28 from 5 – 8 p.m. at Twenty/20 Grill & Wine Bar located at the Sheraton Carlsbad with “Tapas for the Cure.” October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and for the day, Spanish flavors and flair will overrun the room to raise funds for the San Diego Komen Race For The Cure. This event is another step in the Sheraton Carlsbad’s commitment to supporting breast cancer research. Rallied by cancer survivor and Hotel Director of Operations, Rachel Blake, Team Sheraton Carlsbad raised $5000 running in the 2008 San Diego Komen Race For The Cure, and have now turned their attentions to raising an additional $5000 towards cancer research and education for the San Diego area.
