Discount Store Robbed At Gunpoint

Last night around 8 PM (January 13, 2010) two men used a small handgun to rob the Carlsbad Discount Store in the Albertson’s Shopping Center at 1005 Carlsbad Village Dr, according to a story on 10News.com.

The men entered Carlsbad Discount Store at 1005 Carlsbad Village Drive shortly before 8 p.m. Wednesday and walked around for a few minutes before exiting, according to the Carlsbad Police Department. . . They re-entered a few minutes later, approached a clerk, drew black semi-automatic handguns, demanded money and put it in a bag from the store, police said. Police described one of the gunman as black, about 25, 5 feet 9 inches and 150 pounds. The other was white, about 25, 5 feet 8 inches and 180 pounds, with a shaved head, tattoos on his neck and severe acne.

The description of the black suspect sounds pretty similar to the d
description of the attempted robber at the gas station across the street
last saturday. same type of armed robbery too.
