Carlsbad Beach Fest featured a typical collection of Carlsbadistan artists, musicians, lifeguards, and a whole bunch of people who are not afraid to pick up trash on the beach. Thanks to everyone who came out to beautify our beaches (even if you were just laying there in the sun).

This event was super cool! I was near the beach with my family and didn’t even know it was going on until I was there. I stopped by around 11am and saw all the stuff that was going on and decided to hang out into the late afternoon. There was a wide variety of activities there. I don’t know what “typical” Carlsbadistan artists means. If it means the superbly talented village artists as well as Mediterranean dancers, a Native American artist/drummer, and a Tiki artist wielding a chainsaw, then I guess that was the case.
