Nothing shows that the economy has turned around and local business is looking up more than the arrival of a new massage location in the Village of Carlsbadistan.

Oceana Massage, conveniently located at 2815 Roosevelt St. in the heart of the Village, is sandwiched between Rock n Sprouts childrens’ clothing store and the Carlsbad Danish Bakery in the location that was previously home to Michel Petite Spa & Skin Care Gallery.

According to their “therapeutic services” posts on Craigslist Oceana offers “Swedish, Shiatsu Deep Tissue, Hot Oil Relax Massage, Chinese Traditional Massage, and what we’re guessing will be very popular, their “Unique Chinese Hot Tub.”

Oceana Massage is open seven days a week from 10 AM to 10 PM. Be sure to ask for their grand opening special of “$5 off on Reflexology.” For more information call: (760) 730-3380.

well…good luck to them…I am in the industry and I can tell you with great certainty that the economy is not looking favorably on this industry. People are not spending the money. And BTW…the economy is recovering??? Says WHO???

I tried the 90 minute massage and hot bath, both very good in value and quality. This is basically like a mini Korean day spa. Clean, legit, with basic ambiance. Nicole does excellent deep massage so ask for her if you like it on the border of painful, which is what I asked for. I’m sure she does softer style on request. They give the men shorts to wear in the tub, which I prefer for extra hygiene. Enjoy.
