Three Candidates at Oktoberfest

Candidates Of

Carlsbadistan City Council candidates Thomas K. Arnold, Evan Rodgers, and Ann Kulchin out campaigning together at the Rotary Oktoberfest at Holiday Park on Saturday, October 4, 2008.

Kind of reminds us of a song that we used to sing: One of these things is not like the others, one of these things just doesn’t belong. . . let’s just say since we only have two votes we’ll probably start in the middle and move left.

They look like Scary Wax Figures…

I saw all the candidates there except Bernard but Rodgers was the only candidate I spotted doing The Chicken Dance! My neighbors also saw her dancing at ArtSplash. Picture the other 5 dancing: that’s scary.

Dancing the chicken dance at octoberfest should be a litmus test for all candidates.
She has my vote!

Anyone know where we can get EVAN t-shirts like she’s wearing in the picture?

Evan October 10, 2008 at 12:31 pm

Major thanks to local artist Bryan Snyder of Snyder Art & Design for the cool artwork!

I’ll have some shirts & stickers with me Saturday at the debate 9 a.m. and also at the Pumpkin Plunge at the Monroe Pool (next to Carlsbad High School) noon – 3 p.m.

More details soon about a fun place to get them.

Thanks for your support, everybody!

Along with Evan for Cbad Council stickers and t shirts, limited “art signs” can be picked up at Snyder Art at all hours.

Unlike the signs of other candidate’s, these will not find their way into landfills. Carlsbadcrawl hopes local supporters will accept them as art and keep them well after November 4th as visually appealing creations, as well as a historical reminder of Evan’s attempt at being the youngest elected official in California.

Each art sign is handmade and unique…
