Gang members from Long Beach and Oceanside were reportedly having a partying at the Marriott Resident Inn at 2000 Faraday Ave. early Saturday morning June 13, 2009 when shots were fired during a fight, according to a story in the San Diego Union-Tribune.
One of the fighters then pulled out a handgun and fired into the front of the hotel, police said. . . Police dispatchers received several 911 calls reporting the shooting, and arriving officers found a large crowd running and driving away. . . Police interviewed several witnesses, but no arrests have been made.
Why do gang members from everywhere else have to come to Carlsbad to shoot their guns?
