At 10:59 AM this morning (August 3, 2009) a 6.9 magnitude earthquake struck the Gulf of California 331 miles southest of Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, according to a report from the US Geological Survey.
We didn’t feel it, but many in downtown San Diego did. According to NBCSanDiego “City hall was evacuated soon after the rattling started.”
