Ringing in the Holiday Season is never more fun than by gathering together with friends and neighbors for the annual Carlsbadistan Rotary Christmas Tree lighting ceremony at The Village Faire in the Village of Carlsbadistan.
Beginning at 2 PM on Sunday December 6, 2009, the Village Faire will play host to an afternoon of holiday events. And listen up kids: Santa will come flying in, not in a sleigh pulled by reindeer, but on a bright red firetruck!
Crafts, singing, dancing and other performances will keep the whole family entertained all afternoon. There are even reports that Mayor Bud Lewis will make a rare personal appearance.

The tree is arriving today (12/01) and the lights and ornaments are going up on Thursday (12/3). The public is invited to come join in on the decorating. THis is truly a Carlsbad Village community tree!
