Carlsbad’s Agua Hedionda Bridge On Repair List

by The Editors on August 12, 2007

After the recent collapse of a Minneapolis bridge which has killed nine people (so far) everyone has become a little more interested in exactly what bridges need to be repaired. Well, according to 10 News, the I-5 bridge over Agua Hedionda lagoon in Carlsbad is currently on the California Department of Transportation bridge fix it list.

Caltrans has proposed repairs to the deck and substructure of the Interstate 5 crossing of the lagoon in Carlsbad, according to the list of 195 high-priority bridge projects. Caltrans Director Will Kempton did not specifically address the bridge in comments to reporters in a conference call.

The repairs will be specifically addressed real soon, right?
