Star Wars Days At Legoland

The Force returns to Legoland on June 13 and 14, 2009 during Lego Star Wars Days at the Carlsbadistan theme park. Star Wars fanboys dressed as Darth Vader and his 501st Legion of stormtroopers are apparently invading the family theme park to interact with fans all weekend long.

Legoland guests will take part in out-of-this-world activities like building a 4-foot-tall LEGO R2-D2, Droid Hunt, video game battles, trivia competitions, scavenger hunts and daily costume contests. . . .During LEGO STAR WARS Days, fans of all ages can experience the newest attraction at LEGOLAND Xbox Family GameSpace, where they can play

WHAT:

The Force returns to LEGOLAND® California on June 13 and 14 during LEGO® STAR WARS™ Days. Darth Vader and his 501st Legion of stormtroopers are invading the family theme park and interacting with fans all weekend long. LEGOLAND guests will take part in

During LEGO STAR WARS Days, fans of all ages can experience the newest attraction at LEGOLAND Xbox Family GameSpace, where they can play
LEGO STAR WARS games all weekend long!

The Xbox Family GameSpace features 13 game stations, providing an optimal gaming experience with plenty of space for family members to play together or simply hang-out and watch the fun. Xbox Family GameSpace is a new permanent feature at LEGOLAND California where guests can experience LEGO STAR WARS™ and other family-friendly games like LEGO INDIANA JONES™, LEGO BATMAN™ and Monsters vs. Aliens all year-round.

STAR WARS fans meet Darth Vader face to face!

STAR WARS™ Costume Contest: Guests dress as their favorite STAR WARS characters and compete in daily costume contests. Prizes are awarded in two age categories: 8 and younger and 9 to 15. Prizes include exclusive LEGO STAR WARS toys, collectible gear and tickets to LEGOLAND.

R2-D2 Building Activity: Watch R2-D2 come to life as guests build a life-size version of this popular droid model completely out of LEGO bricks!

Droid Hunt: Guests of all ages receive “droid badges” if they are among the first to stop by a specially marked table in The Beginning of the Park, where they will learn a droid quote from the STAR WARS Saga. When guests wearing droid badges are “caught” within the Park by members of the 501st Legion, they must recite the quote to receive a raffle ticket for the chance to win fantastic LEGO STAR WARS and LEGOLAND merchandise.

Those who locate all the letters and unscramble the secret phrase will be entered to win a family four-pack of LEGOLAND California tickets and exclusive LEGO STAR WARS merchandise.
